Cardinal Shower Enclosures is pleased to announce the availability of
our new Skyline series shower enclosures. This sleek enclosure is simple
and elegant. One side has a fixed panel and the other side slides along
on bold rollers and a single rod. The unit features 3/8" clear glass and
a large 2 1/4" recessed finger pull.
- Brand new type of shower enclosure
- Can install almost anywhere a heavy glass slider could install
- Sleek and architectural, while not overly modern
- Amazingly smooth rollers
- Breaks all the rules of a traditional slider
- Without a header, side rails, or track, it can make your bathroom
feel much larger

Over the years, people have been asking for shower enclosures with less
and less metal. This is a slider expressed in its simplest form. Also,
with the bumpers on the rod there is no need for bumpers on the wall or
the sliding panel.

Available
sizes:
- Widths up to 72"
- Heights up to 80"
Glass
- 3/8" Clear is standard, other options available
- We are currently developing and testing a unit that will use 1/2"
glass.

Installation instructions
Are you curious as to how it all goes together? Check out the
installation instructions:
Additional Notes:
- 90º Panel - At this time we only offer an inline unit. We
are testing the components for a 90º panel, and will make it available
when it has passed our tests.
- Other Finishes - Currently this unit is only available in
Stainless Steel.
- Polycarbonates/Seals - The unit does come with a bulb seal
type u-channel that can be applied so the door seals tightly against
the wall. As for under the door, nothing will be supplied for that
automatically. There are some different T-wipes, or L angle
Polycarbonates that could be used, but note that they cannot be
attached to bottom of door due to it having to pass easily through
center guide. We recommend that the base slopes towards the tub to
minimize water coming out.
Finishes
The Skyline enclosure is available in Stainless Steel, and in June
or July of 2010 will also be available in Polished Stainless Steel. It
looks remarkably like Chrome.

We exhibited this Skyline at the AIA Convention in 2010. It features a
3/8" Satin fixed panel and a 3/8" Clear sliding panel.

In this case, for access reasons, the customer asked that the unit be
installed reversed to allow the sliding panel to be on the left side
away.
